'Experience Ethiopia' is home to a troop of very excitable Gelada Monkeys. Look along the hillsides to catch a glimpse of the monkeys foraging and playing around the caves.

Gelada Monkeys are the last surviving species of grazing primates. They eat around a quarter of their body weight in grass every single day!

The pink heart shaped patch on their chest is a display of dominance and reproductive status for the males. Boys can also be seen upturning and smacking their upper lip to expose their huge canine teeth.

Where in the park?

Be transported to the incredible landscapes of Ethiopia, from the semi-desert flats of Harah to the lush Simien Mountains.
