Terms & Conditions

By registering for the ‘Raise The Woof’ Fun Dog Show at the Hive, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions of entry. On occasion these may be subject to change, therefore please refer to this document so these are fully understood.

By registering for the Fun Dog Show you also agree to abide by any instructions or regulations displayed or given on the day of the event by officials.

Competition Entry Details and Fee

• The organisers advocate a policy of responsible pet ownership and the health and safety of all dogs taking part in the competition is our number one concern. Dogs should not be forced to take part if they are not happy doing so.
• Everyone who takes part in the Fun Dog Show must be registered. This can be done online or classes can be booked on the day, subject to availability.
• The charge for taking part in the Fun Dog Show is £3 per class, per human & dog, when booking in advance. Payment must be made at time of registration.
• Children under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
• Participants may enter more than one class
• If you cannot attend, please inform the organisers as soon as possible by emailing [email protected]
• Unfortunately, given the limited number of spaces, all entry fees are non-refundable.

General Competition Details

• Participants must arrive at the Fun Dog Ring 5 minutes ahead of their class for registration.
• If a participant is late for their class, the organisers will do their best to slot the entrant into another class, however this is not guaranteed.
• Dogs should not be dressed up in costumes or any clothing that does not have a welfare benefit.
• The organisers reserve the right to remove a dog(s) from the ring if they are being aggressive towards another dog/human or are being disruptive to the competition, or showing signs of stress, anxiety, fear, illness or injury.
• Any specific information and instructions given by any stewards/officials must be adhered to and decisions of the judges are final.
• The organisers reserve the right to cancel any classes or to move a participant to another similar class.
• The organisers, reserve the right to refuse or cancel registrations or alter the date, time and/or venue and format of the Fun Dog Show without notice. Any liability to the Participant will be limited to the registration fee. Registration fees are non-refundable if the Event has to be cancelled or postponed due to circumstances outside the organisers control.
• With the exception of professional dog handlers who have been given prior authority by the Event organiser, all dogs must be accompanied at all times and remain on a lead whilst in the Yorkshire Hive, at no time should any dog be left in a vehicle. Any dog found in a vehicle will be removed at the owner’s cost.

By entering the Fun Dog Show you are agreeing to take full responsibility for, any injury or damage to and/or caused by your dog(s) and it is not the liability of the organisers or sponsors including disappearance, theft, death or otherwise. You are fully liable for your animal should they cause any damage or injury. Any dog showing aggressive behaviour at the show will be asked to leave with no refund given.
