Giraffe Experience
The Giraffe experience is a fantastic opportunity to feed these truly magnificent African giants. If you love Giraffes, this is an experience not to be missed!
Spend 30 minutes with one of our Rangers who will guide you behind-the-scenes into the Giraffe area. Here you will have the unique opportunity to learn more about these fascinating giants and feed them some of their favourite food.

Age Suitability: The Giraffe Experience is suitable for people over the age of 8. PLEASE NOTE: All children must be accompanied by a full paying participating adult aged 16+ (see rates below).
Price: £350 for 2 people (additional person £87.50pp)
Price includes entry to Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
Duration: 30 minutes
Maximum number of people: A minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 4 people are permitted on the Giraffe Experience.
Accessibility: Experience may involve steps and uneven ground. Visitors with restricted mobility should call 01302 535057 to discuss individual requirements before booking.
Availability: This experience is available year-round on select dates.
Check in time: 1 hour before the experience start time.
Booking information
Clothing: Sensible footwear (closed toe) and clothing are required on the experience. We advise you to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Covid-19 Guidelines: All guests, including children, must wear a face mask for any animal experience. Anyone who is medically exempt or refuses to wear a face mask cannot do this experience.
